Femi Fani-Kayode, the leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), asserted that President Bola Tinubu had won because Godswill Akpabio was elected as the 10th Senate’s president.
On Tuesday, the senator from Akwa Ibom South-West defeated the senator from Zamfara West to become the new senate president.
APC leader Fani-Kayode, however, asserted in a tweet that Tinubu and the ruling party had won.
Congratulations to Senator Godswill Akpabio, our new Senate President, and Senator Barau Jibrin, our new Deputy Senate President, he wrote.
