Elon Musk, the CEO of SpaceX, has made a prediction that the year 2024 will be even more eventful than the preceding four years.
This statement came in response to a follower who expressed a desire for a “normal year” ahead. The follower, known as ‘Wall Street Silver’, tweeted their wish on New Year’s Eve, highlighting the need for a break from the chaos of the past four years. However, Musk’s response indicated that he foresees an even more tumultuous year ahead.
While he did not specify the exact events that may unfold, Musk later elaborated on various factors such as the rapid development of artificial intelligence, the potential impact of mass vaccination on young people’s mortality rates, the record-breaking illegal immigration to the US, and the anti-white rhetoric from South African presidential candidate Julius Malema.
In 2023, Musk issued repeated warnings about the potential for a nuclear war between Russia and the US due to the ongoing conflict between Russia and Ukraine.
Despite providing Ukraine with free access to SpaceX’s Starlink internet service, Musk refused to extend the service to Crimea out of concern that it could be used to guide drones to Russian warships, which he believed would make his company complicit in escalating the conflict. This stance garnered numerous comments suggesting that the upcoming 2024 US presidential election would be a major source of “craziness” for the year.
While Musk did not endorse any candidate, he made it clear that he would not vote for President Joe Biden. Although he had previously expressed support for Florida Governor Ron DeSantis and referred to Vivek Ramaswamy as a promising candidate, Musk emphasized that his refusal to support Biden did not automatically mean he would vote for presumptive Republican contender Donald Trump.
