Agboola Ajayi, a previous deputy governor of Ondo state, has been selected as the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate for the upcoming November governorship election after securing 264 votes during the party primary.
His main competitor, Kolade Akinjo, a former member of the House of Representatives, received 157 votes.
