Law enforcement authorities have apprehended the suspected mastermind behind the tragic incident involving the killing of passengers on the Abuja-Kaduna train, which took place in March 2022.
The individual in question has been identified as Ibrahim Abdullahi, who is also known by the chilling alias of Mandi.
ACP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, the Police Public Relations Officer in Kaduna, officially disclosed this information to the public on Thursday.

It was revealed that the suspect had previously been involved in the abduction of students from Greenfield University in 2021.
Furthermore, the police reported that a total of 48 AK-47 rifles were confiscated during Mandi’s arrest, and investigations are currently ongoing to uncover his backers and the source of the weapons.
