On Friday, a Nigerian Railway Corporation train travelling from Kaduna to Abuja derailed not far from a stop in Kubwa, Bwari Area Council of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
Just one week prior, a different train in Kogi derailed in dense forest along the Warri-Itakpe track.

No casualties have been reported thus far, according to PlatinumPost, and rescue efforts are still ongoing, even though the accident’s cause has not yet been determined.
