A woman was killed on Thursday in the Kubwa neighborhood of Abuja by a passenger train traveling from Kaduna to that city.
At around 10:00 am, she was allegedly trying to drive her automobile across the rail track as the train approached.
A spokesman for the Nigerian Railway Corporation (NRC), Mahmood Yakoob, told journalists about the incident but couldn’t give any more information.
A video of the terrible incident making the rounds on social media shows that on Thursday, a train struck a black Toyota Camry from the driver’s side as it crossed a rail track.
