The controversial artist Portable has called out fellow rapper Oladips for staging his demise in order to gain publicity for his latest album.
Rapper Oladips’ management revealed his passing on social media on Tuesday.
In a separate development on Wednesday, Qdot—Oladips’ close partner and colleague—insisted in an Instagram post that the rapper is still alive.

Qdot shared a photo of Oladips with the caption, “@oladipsoflife my gee is alive.”
In response, Portable, who is about to release his album “Street Donjazzy,” attacked Oladips for staging his demise in order to promote his upcoming album in a widely shared video on the internet.
“I’m not over life just yet. I am very much still here. I’m still really content with life, so I can’t use it to play in this way. I refuse to use my passing to promote a record.
