The legendary player for Manchester United, Dwight Yorke, has advised the Red Devils not to recruit former Arsenal striker Donyell Malen.
Yorke maintained that Man United would be wasting money if they were to trade Malen and Jadon Sancho to Borussia Dortmund.
He said that Malen, who is a Dortmund player right now, wouldn’t help Erik ten Hag’s team.
Remember that Sancho hasn’t played for Manchester United since August and looks certain to depart the Premier League team in January, either permanently or on loan.
Man United is considering their options, and a trade involving Malen and Sancho has been discussed.
“I hear Donyell Malen has scored a few goals in the Bundesliga, but I haven’t seen much of him. Although I haven’t seen enough of him to form an opinion, he appears to be a decent player, Yorke told Instant Casino.
“United cannot afford to waste money on players who won’t help the team.” Prior to signing someone, my primary priority is my aspiration to become a coach.
“The team will stay on the same course if this guy doesn’t improve the level of the position he’s playing in.”
“United need to sign players who can handle the pressure of the club and who can help them win football matches,” he continued.
