Following an explosion in the Okene region of Kogi State, three people have died.
According to information obtained by Channels Television, the event took place on Thursday morning at the Oyinoyi’s Palace in the state’s Okenne Local Government Area.

President Muhammadu Buhari will arrive in the next few hours to inaugurate a few projects in the north-central state.
Police officers from the Anti-Bomb Unit were there at the scene as of the time of reporting this report.
However, the reason for the explosion is unclear because the authorities have not yet released information regarding the occurrence.
