In the problematic eastern senatorial district of Sokoto State’s Isa Local Government Area, an explosion from a local welder’s business has been confirmed to have killed at least four people.
DSP Sanusi Abubakar, the Sokoto State Police Command’s spokesman, confirmed to Channels Television that the explosion, which claimed the lives of four people, took place on Sunday afternoon.
According to him, the explosion was caused by a cylinder explosion in the shop of the neighborhood welder and was unrelated to the security issues plaguing the region.
