The campaign staff for President-elect Bola Tinubu acknowledged to rigging the presidential election last Saturday, according to PDP presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar.
Because the voting was manipulated, Tinubu’s campaign team conceded, Atiku said he was requesting the cancellation of Saturday’s presidential election.
He pointed out that there were irregularities in the election since Tinubu’s presidential campaign staff admitted that there was manipulation in the southeast.
This was said by the PDP candidate in a statement sent by his spokesperson, Phrank Shaibu.
He bemoaned the fact that, despite stolen their mandate, Tinubu’s campaign team had kept attacking and making fun of Nigerians.

Atiku emphasised that Tinubu’s defeat in Lagos was proof that Nigerians don’t support him.
According to the statement, Festus Keyamo’s assertion that there was significant vote-rigging in the southeast and that the APC will contest the results there “validates our position that this election was rife with irregularities.
“Is it not ironic that Tinubu said he wanted to replicate the developments of Lagos throughout Nigeria but the same people of Lagos rejected him during the election?
He and his allies sent thugs after the state’s citizens, yet they still lost.
