Godfrey Manasseh, a stronghold of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Bauchi State and an ardent admirer of President Bola Tinubu, claims that the President has pardoned former House Speaker Yakubu Dogara for turning down his request for support in his bid for the presidency.
In an effort to prevent Tinubu from winning the presidency in 2023 as a result of the APC’s Muslim-Muslim ticket, Dogara teamed up with a few Christian organisations nationwide, especially those in the north.

Dogara, a close supporter of Tinubu, was compelled to work against Tinubu since the APC remained steadfast in its support of the Muslim-Muslim ticket.
The outspoken opponent of the Muslim-Muslim ticket, the former Speaker openly backed former Vice President Atiku Abubakar of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) for president instead of supporting Tinubu.
With his goal of ruling Nigeria in ruins, Atiku eventually lost both the election and the case that he brought before the Supreme Court.
Dogara, his allies, and the Christians who opposed the APC Muslim-Muslim ticket were defeated in the power struggle.
When discussing the development with journalists in Bauchi, Manasseh clarified that Tinubu is the type of guy who extends forgiveness beforehand.
A former chairman of the Christian Coalition for Tinubu and a member of Tinubu’s Independent Campaign Council, the doctor claimed that the President had already forgiven Dogara for not offering him the expected backing.
“Everyone is aware of Mr. President’s identity,” he said.
“You offend President Ahmed Bola Tinubu, and he forgives you before you do.”Mr. President has pardoned Dogara and associates who fiercely opposed the Muslim-Muslim ticket.
“When you forgive a child, he needs to come back to his dad.”I’m a Christian, and I’ve heard the prodigal son tale.
“After receiving forgiveness, the prodigal son went back to his father.”Dogara is no longer forgiven by President Tinubu.
“Now, it is up to Dogara and his cronies to hurry back to Mr. President, and he will retrieve them.”
He stated that Muslims and Muslims are starting to realise that the Muslim-Muslim tickets were not intended for religious purposes.
We’ll beg some of them not to cast ballots because many Christians will vote for Tinubu again because the Muslim-Muslim ticket has performed rather well and Christians are voting for Tinubu again in 2027.
According to him, the president is an exceptional leader who is putting up considerable effort to elevate Nigeria to new heights.
“We stated during the campaign that Tinubu was dependable; Nigerians are attesting to his commitment, dedication, and trustworthiness thus far,” he remarked.
