Olisa Ndah’s representative, Mike Makab, has disclosed that his client’s dream of playing overseas was thwarted by persistent injuries.
Despite being linked with moves to Serie A and Major League Soccer (MLS) clubs last summer due to his impressive performances for South African side, Orlando Pirates, the 27-year-old has struggled to maintain a regular spot in the team as he grappled with fitness issues.
Makab expressed that the defender has been unfortunate with his injury setbacks, stating that although they are not severe, they have been disruptive to Ndah’s progress on the field.

He further mentioned that whenever Ndah hits his stride, these minor injuries tend to hinder his momentum, affecting his consistency as a player.
Makab also highlighted that during periods when Ndah was in good form, there was genuine interest from foreign clubs.
Ndah, who represented Nigeria at the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations in Cameroon, continues to work towards overcoming these challenges to fulfill his aspirations of playing abroad.
