Transfer: Ekong Completes Move to Swedish Club, Malmo FF

Nigerian defender William Ekong has completed his transfer to Swedish football club Malmo FF, marking a new chapter in his career.

Malmö FF, the Swedish Allsvenskan champions, have announced the signing of Nigerian forward Emmanuel Ekong.

The young striker is the son of Ikpe Ekong, a former midfielder for the Super Eagles.

The 22-year-old transitioned from Serie A club Empoli to join Malmo FF.

Ekong signed a five-year contract with Malmo FF.

He shared his excitement after joining the Sky Blue team.

“It feels amazing to finally arrive, as I’ve been yearning for this moment,” he shared with the club’s official website.

“I believe this is definitely the right move for me, aligning with Malmö FF’s ambitions. I want to join a team that consistently plays to win and be part of their journey.”
