Nigerians are urged to support President Bola Ahmed Tinubu regardless of their political party affiliations, according to Minister of the Federal Capital Territory Barrister Ezenwo Nyesom Wike.

At a courtesy visit to his office in Abuja on Thursday, October 26, 2023, the FCT Minister received a call from leaders of the Rivers State All Progressives Congress (APC), led by Chief Victor Giadom, the National Chairman, South South.

With the elections concluded and the president now in office, the FCT Minister asserts that citizens of the Nigerian State ought to be aware that this is the moment for them to band together and work for the good of the nation.

According to him, every Nigerian should support President Tinubu because he has demonstrated that he has the ability and political will to alter the nation for the better.

Mr. President is not the president of the APC now that he has emerged, according to Wike. For all Nigerians, he is their president.

The Minister stressed the need for cooperation amongst lawmakers in Rivers State, regardless of their political affiliations, and asked them to support President Tinubu’s administration in the state’s best interests.

The time has come, he remarked, for our state to progress forward, that we also need to comprehend national politics. It is important that we do not miss out because so many States have profited from it.

Partying is a means of transportation, and that is something we must recognise. You exit the car, nevertheless, as soon as you reach your destination.

“Rivers State’s interest is crucial. You specifically don’t want it. Our state will benefit from it. We must constantly defend the things that will be advantageous to our state.

Using the occasion, Wike also gave assurances to all Nigerians, especially those in Rivers State, that the administration of the Federal Capital Territory will treat them fairly.

“I’m going to be impartial,” he declared. Nigerians have my support. I am available to both political party members and non-members.

Do let me know if you run across any issues. Avoid identifying as either the PDP or the APC. Please inform me of any advantages that others in Abuja enjoy. I don’t consider myself a politician. Everybody counts me as a politician.
