Ganduje Urges Nigerians to Be Patient With Tinubu, Says Reforms Are Showing Results
APC Chairman Abdullahi Ganduje calls for patience with President Tinubu’s administration, claiming recent reforms are beginning to yield positive outcomes for the nation.
Abdullahi Ganduje, the National Chairman of the All Progressive Congress (APC), has urged Nigerians to remain patient with President Bola Tinubu’s administration as it implements economic reforms that have caused discomfort for many.
Ganduje expressed this in a statement released by his Chief Press Secretary, Edwin Olofu, on the occasion of this year’s Christmas celebration.
Upon taking office as President in 2023, two significant policies were announced: the removal of the petrol subsidy and the unification of the exchange rate. These measures have subsequently driven inflation sky-high, leading to hardship for many Nigerians who are now struggling to afford basic necessities.
The former governor of Kano State, in his message urging for greater patience, mentioned that the effects of Tinubu’s reforms are already starting to become evident.
He guaranteed that by Christmas next year, the economy would have stabilized more effectively. He noted that government efforts to secure the country are showing positive results, as incidents of banditry and kidnapping have significantly decreased.
Ganduje mentioned that while the nation addresses its developmental challenges, the APC leadership stays dedicated to advancing policies and initiatives aimed at fostering sustainable growth, enhancing security, and improving welfare for all citizens.
The National Chairman encouraged all Nigerians to take this festive season as an opportunity to pray for ongoing peace, stability, and prosperity in the country. Additionally, he urged prayers for the success of our leaders across every level of government.
He urged all Nigerians, regardless of their faith or background, to adopt a spirit of unity and mutual respect, which are crucial for national cohesion.
He went on to stress the importance of selflessness, generosity, and compassion for those less fortunate, particularly during this season of giving.
