Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and Peter Obi of the Labour Party (LP), both presidential contenders, have been made fun of by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Special Advisor on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga.

According to Onanuga, Atiku and Obi failed in their effort to persuade a US court to order the disclosure of certain material against Tinubu.

Onanuga claimed that the conspirators had once more failed, citing Atiku and Obi.

Aaron Greenspan, an American agent and contractor for Atiku Abubakar, Peter Obi, and David Hundeyin, lost his attempt to persuade a judge in Washington, D.C., to order the release of President Tinubu’s FBI file, according to a post by Onanuga on the social media platform X. Once more, the conspirators have failed.

The Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), and the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) had been asked to divulge information on Tinubu, but the US District Court of Columbia had rejected the request.

Following the Nigerian Supreme Court’s consideration of Atiku and Obi’s appeals, one Aaron Greenspan filed the emergency motion to compel the Executive Office for U.S. Attorneys (“EOUSA”), the Department of State, the FBI, Internal Revenue Service, Drug Enforcement Administration, and the CIA to immediately release the documents.

He begged for the documents to be released quickly because the Supreme Court needed to see them.

Greenspan testified before the court that the Supreme Court purposefully changed the date of the hearing on Atiku and Obi’s appeals to October 23 in order to make his lawsuit against the US court irrelevant.

He had requested that he receive access to the Tinubu documents no later than October 31.

Judge Beryl A. Howell rejected Greenspan’s request in her decision on the appeal on the grounds that he did not meet the necessary requirements in his application for an emergency hearing, which was submitted on Monday.
