The Ikeja Electricity Distribution Company, IKEDC, has disclosed the specific regions within Lagos State that are benefitting from more than 20 hours of uninterrupted power supply.
This announcement comes in the wake of the recent adjustment in electricity rates for consumers falling under the Band A category by the Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission, NERC, which took place on Wednesday.
As a result of the tariff hike, customers in Band A will now be required to pay N225 per kilowatt-hour (KW/h), a significant increase from the previous rate of N66.
Band A customers are those who receive electricity for a duration of 20 to 24 hours daily, while Band B subscribers enjoy a slightly lower supply of 16 to 20 hours.

On the other hand, customers categorized under Band C receive a daily supply of 12 to 16 hours.
