Dangote Petroleum Refinery recently declared a decrease in the cost of diesel from 1,200 to 1,000 naira per liter. The refinery had initially introduced the product at a reduced rate of N1,200 per liter three weeks ago, marking a reduction of over 30 percent from the previous market price of approximately N1,600 per liter.
In a statement released by the company on Tuesday evening, it was clarified that the notable drop in diesel prices is anticipated to have a favorable impact on all sectors of the economy and contribute to lowering the high inflation rate in the nation.
