Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti addresses concerns over Vinicius Junior missing training, assuring fans that the star winger is simply fatigued and not injured.

Carlo Ancelotti, the head coach of Real Madrid, explained why Vinicius Junior missed Friday’s training. The Brazilian winger was granted an extra day off to recover from fatigue.

“We’ve provided him with an additional day off as he’s still quite fatigued. He’ll be ready and at his peak performance level tomorrow to assist us. There’s nothing wrong, just a bit of tiredness,” stated Carlo Ancelotti, the head coach of Real Madrid.

This season, Vinicius and Kylian Mbappé have been subject to criticism regarding their performances, with both players’ roles increasingly under examination. While Mbappé has netted 28 goals, Vinicius has added 18 goals and provided 11 assists. Despite these impressive individual statistics, questions about their collaboration emerged after a missed penalty by Vinicius in Real Madrid’s recent draw against Atlético Madrid.

“Vinicius is an indispensable player for us. While his performances may fluctuate, I have unwavering confidence in him. His contributions to the club have been significant, and that’s why I’ll never question him, even during challenging times,” stated Carlo Ancelotti, Real Madrid’s head coach.

Real Madrid is currently in second place in La Liga with 57 points, level with the leading FC Barcelona who have played one fewer game.
