Villagers Kill Three Captured Bandits After Foiled Attack

Authorities have confirmed that residents of Tafoki Village in the Faskari Local Government Area of Katsina State killed three injured bandits after a failed attack on their community.
The attack took place on February 25, as approximately 100 armed bandits on motorcycles invaded the village. Security forces quickly responded and engaged in a gunfight with the assailants, prompting them to retreat into the forest while many suffered injuries.
Local sources report that the following morning, February 26, villagers found and captured three of the injured bandits. They were reportedly killed afterward.
The security agencies have been alerted, and efforts to locate the remaining attackers on the run are ongoing.
