Tragic Bus Crash in Brazil Claims Dozens of Lives”

A devastating bus crash in Brazil has resulted in the loss of dozens of lives, with authorities investigating the cause of the accident.

Local officials reported that at least 38 people lost their lives in a road traffic accident on Saturday in the state of Minas Gerais, Brazil. The tragedy occurred when a crowded bus collided with a truck and caught fire.

According to the state’s fire department, as reported by AP, an additional 13 individuals were transported to hospitals in proximity to the city of Teofilo Otoni.

The authorities informed the news agency that a passenger bus, which had left Sao Paulo with 45 people on board, experienced a tire blowout. This caused the driver to lose control and collide with a truck. Rescue teams were reportedly told by witnesses that the bus was struck by a granite block.

A subsequent collision involved another car and the bus; however, all three passengers in the car survived. According to the fire department, a forensic investigation will be initiated to determine the cause of the accident due to conflicting eyewitness reports.
