Thugs target, abduct 18-year-old suspected of being involved with gang leader’s girlfriend
A gangster has attacked and kidnapped Kingsley Eyo Andem, age 18, on the grounds that he may have dated their leader’s girlfriend, known only as “Olismam.”
Over the weekend, he was allegedly kidnapped from his house and brought to the creeks in the Nyangassan axis, close to Calabar.
In a statement, State Police PRO Irene Ugbo verified this, stating that the attack and kidnapping were reported to the Anti-Cultism and Kidnapping Squad (ACKS), which reacted to a distress call.

She added that early in the morning, the police squad quickly assembled at the location of the incident.
“The thieves abandoned their victim, Kingsley Eyo Andem, an 18-year-old man who was discovered suffering from multiple injuries sustained by his kidnappers, as soon as they spotted the police and ran into the creek.”
“His kidnapping stemmed from claims that he was seeing the leader of the gang’s girlfriend.
She declared, “The Command has stepped up efforts to capture the gang members and make sure they face justice in line with the current laws of the land.”
