Super Falcons are the 10th-best squad in the 2023 World Cup

At the just finished 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup, Nigeria’s Super Falcons were ranked as the 10th best team.

The nine-time African champions finished second to co-hosts Australia in the group round without losing a game.

However, the West Africans were defeated in the Round of 16 after losing 4-2 on penalties to the English Three Lionesses.

The Super Falcons are ranked higher than powerful nations like Germany and Brazil, according to FIFA.

The competition’s top-ranked African team is Randy Waldrum’s group.

The Women’s World Cup was initially won by Spain, who defeated England 1-0 in the championship game.

Spain leads the top ten list of countries, followed by England, Sweden, Australia, Japan, France, the Netherlands, Colombia, the United States, and Nigeria.
