South Africa’s Swart discusses Banyana’s edge over Nigeria in 2024 Olympics qualifiers

South Africa’s goalkeeper, Kaylin Swart, has expressed her confidence in playing the first leg of the Paris 2024 Olympics qualifiers against Nigeria in Nigeria.

She believes that this decision could work to their advantage as it alleviates pressure and provides an opportunity to build confidence.

Swart acknowledges the challenges posed by Nigeria’s passionate home support but sees it as an opportunity for motivation rather than intimidation.

She points out that in the previous qualifiers against DR Congo and Tanzania, it was not easy, but they managed to score goals away and returned home with confidence.
