Jackline Acheampong, also known as Gyakie, a well-known Ghanaian singer, recently expressed her reluctance to engage in romantic relationships with her fellow colleagues in the music industry.
In a recent interview with 3FM in Accra, she mentioned that maintaining a romantic relationship with someone who shares the same profession as you can pose various challenges and complexities.
While acknowledging that love is a beautiful thing, Gyakie emphasized that, at the moment, she personally wouldn’t recommend being romantically involved with someone from the music industry.

Despite being a prominent figure in the music scene, Gyakie has managed to keep her romantic life private and has not been linked to any public relationships.
Although there were speculations in 2021 about her being romantically involved with Nigerian singer Omah Lay, it was later revealed that the rumors were merely a publicity stunt for their collaborative project, the ‘Forever’ remix.
