Saraki receives condolences from Gov AbdulRazaq and Emir of Ilorin on his mother death

Governor of Kwara State AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has expressed his sympathies to the Saraki family on the passing of Chief Florence Morenike Saraki, the matriarch, on Tuesday, June 18.

The governor expressed his condolences for the tragic situation, mentioning in particular Mr. Olaolu Saraki, Senator Gbemisola Saraki, former Senate President Abubakar Bukola Saraki, and the rest of the family.

In a statement released on Wednesday in Ilorin through his spokesperson, Rafiu Ajakaye, the governor encouraged the Sarakis to find solace in the admirable contributions left by their mother.

Governor AbdulRazaq beseeched God to preserve the family following Chief Mrs. Florence Saraki’s passing and to rest her soul.

In a similar vein, Saraki has received condolences from Alhaji Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, the Chairman of the Kwara State Traditional Rulers Council and Emir of Ilorin, about the passing of his mother, Madam Florence Saraki.

Alhaji Sulu-Gambari praised the deceased as Olusola Saraki’s (the late Waziri of Ilorin) virtuous wife, lovely mother, and tremendous philanthropist, whose services to humanity would always be remembered.

Alhaji Sulu-Gambari expressed his sincere condolences to Dr. Bukola Saraki, the two-term governor of Kwara State and a former Senate President of Nigeria, as well as his siblings, following the death of their cherished matriarch, in a statement released by the Emir’s spokesperson, Mallam Abdulazeez Arowona, on Wednesday.

Along with expressing his sympathies, he also mentioned that “Late Madam Florence Morenike Saraki lived a fulfilled life with numerous accomplishments” to the deceased’s immediate and extended family.

The queen prayed for Almighty God to provide the families the strength to cope with the significant loss and for her soul to rest in peace.
