Sanwo-Olu Reaffirms Support for Workers’ Call for Pay Rise on May Day
Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State has expressed his support and solidarity with Nigerian workers in their demand for a wage increase.
During the May Day celebration held at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena in Lagos Island, Sanwo-Olu assured the workers that his administration will continue to prioritize their welfare and prosperity.
He acknowledged the economic challenges faced by the country and the difficult decisions taken by the government to rescue the economy and promote sustainable growth.
Despite these challenges, Sanwo-Olu commended the workers for their resilience, adaptability, and courage in the face of disruptions caused by the economic downturn.
