Police have rescued a teenager kidnapped and smuggled to Port Harcourt in a ‘Ghana-Must-Go’ bag. Discover more about this shocking case.

The successful rescue of a 16-year-old teenager who was abducted in Enugu and transported to Port Harcourt inside a “Ghana-Must-Go” bag has been achieved by the Rivers State Police Command.

On Wednesday, a press conference held in Port Harcourt saw Mr. Olatunji Disu – the Commissioner of Police – making this very announcement.

Disu reported that the teenager suffered from multiple attacks by her abductors upon arrival at Port Harcourt.

One of the suspects was brought to light after officers at Abuloma Police Station received reliable intelligence about suspicious activity.

The girl was rescued due to the prompt response of the police, as efforts are being made to apprehend those responsible through ongoing investigations.
