Peter Obi: Obasanjo’s endorsement was pointless; now is the time for Tinubu – Fani-Kayode

An important member of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Femi Fani-Kayode, has responded to Olusegun Obasanjo’s support for Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP).

Obi’s support from Obasanjo, according to Fani-Kayode, a representative of the Tinubu/Shettima campaign committee, is a fruitless effort.

He made this claim in a post on his verified Twitter account.

Remember that in his New Year’s message to Nigerians, Obasanjo said that Obi should run for president in 2023, citing Obi’s track record of success and ability.

Age, physical ability, and cerebral makeup favour Obi more than other front-runner contenders, according to the former president.

When responding to Obasanjo’s support of Obi over his principal, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the All Progressive Congress’s presidential candidate for the upcoming presidential election, Fani-Kayode stated that it could not alter the fact that Tinubu’s time had come.

“OBJ is a father to us all, and I will always respect him,” the writer added. Nevertheless, I reserve the right to contradict him as and when required. His support for @PeterObi is not only puzzling but also a fruitless endeavour. Nothing can stop @officialABAT from having their time.
