Bishop David Oyedepo, founder and presiding bishop of Living Faith Church Worldwide, received, among other things, two Rolls Royces as part of his 70th birthday celebrations on Friday.

Church members, pastors, and worshippers who consider Oyedepo a mentor and source of inspiration presented him with these lavish gifts in recognition of his leadership and influence.

Meanwhile, the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) called on Oyedepo to continue his contribution to the educational development and economic empowerment of the country.

In a congratulatory message, the religious body hailed the bishop as a “legend of faith” whose life was a great influence. CAN President Archbishop Daniel Okoh commended Oyedepo for his “enormous impact on the Christian community within and outside Nigeria.”.

He said: Through his ministry, he has not only transformed lives spiritually but also contributed greatly to educational development, economic empowerment, and social upliftment. With growing socio-economic instability and insecurity, Bishop Oyedepo’s teachings on faith, prosperity, and resilience have given hope and guidance to many. His steadfastness in preaching a message of love, unity, and faith underscores the vital role of the church in addressing the pressing issues of our country.

The Church must remain a beacon of hope that promotes peace and reconciliation among different communities. Bishop Oyedepo’s emphasis on the Word of God as the foundation of life is even more real, calling us to stand firm in our faith and drive change in our communities. ”His commitment to the Great Commission to encourage believers to spread the message of Christ’s love. The service, which was held at the church auditorium in Otta, Ogun State, was attended by Governor Dapo Abiodun of Ogun State and Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State.

The highlight of the celebration was a special service attended by prominent clerics such as Pastor Enock Adeboye and General Ove.
