On Wednesday, Yemi Osinbajo, the vice president, paid a visit to Bola Tinubu, the APC candidate for president, at his home in Abuja.
Kashim Shettima, the vice presidential candidate for the APC, was present during the meeting.
This was said by Laolu Akande, who works as Osinbajo’s media assistant. He said it while tweeting some photos of the meeting.
“Vice President Yemi Osinbajo went by for a cordial visit to Asiwaju Bola Tinubu’s Abuja residence just now,” he wrote.
Since the former governor of Lagos beat out Osinbajo for the ruling party’s presidential nomination in May of this year, Osinbajo has not run for any office.
