Oji enjoys Abia Warriors’ victory on the road against Gombe United
Head coach of the Abia Warriors, Bethel Oji, has praised his team for following instructions during their victory over Gombe United.
At Pantami Stadium on Wednesday, the Umuahia-based team defeated the Savannah Scorpions 3-1.
Samson Obi scored twice, and Anthony Dezousa gave Abia Warriors the lead.
He told the Abia Warriors reporters, “I think the players did a great job and they followed the instructions given to them.”

“We are grateful to God for allowing us to come back and win the game when it was close to 1-1.
“We also had a better atmosphere at Pantami Stadium than we did at our previous game in Umuahia, which was characterised by torrential rain.”
Abia Warriors’ victory in Gombe allowed them to move up to 13th place.
