Kwara United, a team in the Nigeria Premier Football League, has announced the appointment of Kabiru Dogo as their new head coach.

Abdulazeez Mohammed is replaced immediately by Dogo, who most recently served as manager of Wikki Tourists of Bauchi, a team in the Nigeria Professional Football League.

Following Saturday’s 2-0 loss to Nasarawa United at the New Jos Stadium by Kwara United, Mohammed announced his resignation from his position.

This season, the Harmony Boys have had trouble making an impression in the NPFL, winning just one game out of seven.

Dogo’s first assignment will be to assist the Ilorin team in enhancing their performance and climbing the log.

In the past, the coach has had managerial positions with Nasarawa United, Lobi Stars, and Sunshine Stars in the NPFL.

The midweek matchup against Remo Stars will serve as his first contest as Kwara United’s head coach.
