Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced that as the conflict with Hamas in the Gaza Strip nears its conclusion, Israeli forces are preparing to shift their focus towards the border with Lebanon to address the threat posed by Hezbollah.

Netanyahu emphasized that while the intense phase of the war in Rafah is coming to an end, the overall conflict is not yet over.

He mentioned that the troops in Gaza will be redirected northward, with the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) being redeployed to the border area where tensions with Hezbollah have escalated.

Netanyahu also highlighted the importance of protecting Israeli residents and potentially bringing them back home, either through diplomatic means or otherwise.

Despite concerns about triggering a broader conflict in the region, Netanyahu expressed readiness to engage on multiple fronts if necessary.
