MTN Nigeria has reversed its controversial 200% data bundle tariff hike, calling it an error, after customers reacted to the sudden price increase.

MTN, Nigeria’s leading telecommunications company, has rolled back its 200 percent tariff increase on the 15GB data plan.

The company announced this in a statement on its official account on X on Thursday.

Remember that on Tuesday, MTN began implementing a 200 percent increase in tariffs for the 15G data bundle as well as other data plans.
