Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has officially stated that three crucial players, Ederson, Kyle Walker, and Nathan Ake, will not be included in the squad for the upcoming match against Aston Villa in the Premier League.

Guardiola made this announcement during his pre-match press conference held at the Etihad Stadium.

The Cityzens are entering this game following a goalless draw in their previous Premier League fixture against Arsenal on Sunday.

Currently, Manchester City occupies the third spot in the Premier League standings, trailing behind the table-toppers Liverpool by three points.

Guardiola provided an injury update on Ederson, Walker, and John Stones, mentioning that John Stones might have a chance of being fit, but Ederson and Walker are unlikely to feature in the upcoming match.

Regarding Nathan Ake, Guardiola mentioned that the player is dealing with an injury and expressed hope that he will recover soon, although he couldn’t provide a specific timeline for his return.

Guardiola also confirmed that Ake will not be available for the next few games due to his ongoing recovery process.
