“The vote is over by 2:30 pm; all that is left is to combine. Information would have reached you if, for instance, you were in a polling unit and saw a trend while being canvassed.”

Wale Okunniyi, a leader in the Labour Party, asserts that Peter Obi, the party’s presidential candidate, will win by Saturday noon, basing his claim on what he called the LP’s “organic support.”

“My optimism tells me that [Peter Obi] will win by a landslide on the first ballot. My studies confirm my optimism and the degree of effort that some of us have expended. The 2023 Verdict, a Channels Television election program, featured him on Thursday. “We will be stunned that by 12 noon, it will be evident that we have won,” he remarked. “I’m going to tell you what I’ve looked at.”

The head of grassroots mobilization for the Obi-Datti Presidential Campaign Council (PCC) claims that even though voting is supposed to stop at 2:30 pm, Obi would have won the election earlier.

“You’ll know that we’ve won by midday. You will now be aware of trends, even if they aren’t formally recognized, he said.

“The voting is over by 2:30 pm; the only task left is collation. “Information would have reached you if you are in a polling unit, for instance, and you notice the pattern and you have canvassers,” Okunniyi insisted.
