Four soldiers stationed at Myoung Barracks in the Shomolu area of Lagos, Morocco, are feared dead and others were injured after being struck by a suspected drunk driver.

Several soldiers from Myoung Barracks in Yaba, Lagos State, were reportedly feared dead and others injured when a suspected drunk driver collided with them.

The incident, which took place early Friday morning during physical training, has caused panic within the military community.

He spoke to one of the soldiers, saying, “There’s blood everywhere. I was spared because I was at the back.”

The soldier, whose name has been withheld, recounted that the vehicle contained three young men believed to be internet fraudsters commonly referred to as ‘Yahoo Boys.’

He mentioned that the car crashed into soldiers near the Myoung Barracks Army Sports Camp, leading one of its occupants to flee immediately while the other two were caught and brutally beaten. Their vehicle was also vandalized in the process.
