APC considers the creation of a progressive institute

The APC National Chairman, Abdullahi Ganduje, has announced that the ruling party will establish a National Institute of Progressive Studies in 2024.

During his visit to President Bola Tinubu in Lagos, Ganduje stated that the institute will play a crucial role in promoting democratic principles within the party and among citizens.

Its main objectives will include educating members and the public on the fundamentals of democracy, fostering internal democracy, discouraging hate speech, and ensuring adherence to electoral laws and processes.

Additionally, the institute will collaborate with the government to develop policies that support democracy.
