Over the weekend, chaos erupted in Osun State as Olawale Rasheed, the spokesperson for the state governor, Ademola Adeleke, was summoned by the Department of State Service (DSS) for allegedly being involved in spreading false information about Femi, the son of Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, Adegboyega Oyetola.

The situation escalated when an Abuja-based blogger published a report accusing Femi of engaging in corrupt practices within the Ministry of Marine.

Following this, the blogger was apprehended by DSS agents and admitted that Rasheed had funded the publication of the report.

Rasheed, however, refuted these allegations in a statement released earlier in the week, asserting that he had not provided any information to the online publisher regarding Oyetola’s son.

He mentioned that he would cooperate with the investigators during the upcoming weekend.

In a recent turn of events, Rasheed took legal action by filing a lawsuit in the Federal High Court, Osogbo against DSS and Femi Oyetola, seeking to protect his rights and address the situation at hand.
