Abure is an exceptional party chairman- Bauchi LP
Alhaji Mohammed Sabitu Aliyu, the acting chairman of the Labour Party’s Bauchi State branch, has reiterated the chapter’s allegiance to National Chairman Julius Abure.
“The best chairman the party has produced since its formation,” according to Sabitu Aliyu, is Abure.
He praised Abure’s work since taking office in a Monday interview with journalists, saying that the party’s leadership “has the capacity, capability, and wherewithal to move the party to greater heights, especially in future elections.”
In order to improve the party’s chances of winning future elections across the nation, he disclosed that the party’s leadership and other stakeholders are actively trying to strengthen democratic practices within the organisation.

In his reflections on the general elections of 2023, Sabitu Aliyu pointed out that the popularity of the Labour Party was partly due to Abure’s attempts to produce a candidate who Nigerians could support.
“The future of the Labour Party is bright with Julius Abure’s commitment, zeal, and patriotism towards building a strong and vibrant party,” stated Sabitu Aliyu.
“Now that Nigerians have experienced PDP and APC and are more conscious, knowledgeable, and experienced, they realise that our great party, the Labour Party, is the only hope for the average man,” he continued.
Recall that at the party’s recent national convention, which was held in Nnewi, Anambra State, delegates unanimously affirmed Julius Abure as the National Chairman of the Labour Party for a second term, in spite of the Nigeria Labour Congress’s (NLC) protests.
