Through its Ministry of Women Affairs, Children, and Social Development, the Zamfara State Government adopted a six-year-old child whose video was popular on social media and in which he bemoaned the death of his father and vowed to do retribution.

Suleiman Isah, the ministry’s public relations officer, claimed in Gusau on Thursday that Dr. Nafisa Maraduna, the commissioner for women’s affairs, children’s welfare, and social development, remarked as much while welcoming the boy and his mother into her office.

The state governor’s wife, Hajiya Huriya Lawal, allegedly gave the commissioner the initial order to learn more about the youngster and his mother so that the state could provide them with the required therapy and support for a better quality of life.

The commissioner said, “The boy will be receiving counselling from specialists to better his life and thinking in order to avoid what may happen in the future.”
