Her family revealed her passage on Tuesday in a post that was posted on her Instagram profile.

Zizi Kodwa, the South African Minister of Sports, Arts, and Culture, expressed his sorrow over her demise in a post on his official X account. My sincere sympathies go out to the Mkutukana family and the music business in South Africa.

“The family has been working with the government for a while now. Zahara had a profound and long-lasting influence on South African music with her guitar.

According to Obasanjo News24, Zahara, who rose to stardom with her album “Loliwe” in 2011, was admitted to the hospital in November as a result of liver issues. However, things became worse for her last week when it was said that she wasn’t responding.
