Work in groups, share knowledge of research and technological advances – NBTE to Poly Lecturers

NBTE Executive Secretary Professor Idris Bugaje has encouraged Polytechnic teachers recently educated in research and innovation for effect to work as a team and share knowledge obtained with others in their respective institutions.

The NBTE boss told attendees at the Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFund) programme that it was an important event in the history of Polytechnics in terms of research and innovation promotion.

“I’ve also been told that what we have here at the Innov8 Hub will be replicated in selected polytechnics across the country.” This is the finest path to take.”

18 lecturers had completed a two-week intensive training session that provided them with the tools they needed to commercialise their research and generate solutions to real-world challenges that aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
