Wizkid weeping during his mother’s funeral and declares, “I’ve never felt this much pain”
Ayodeji Balogun, also known as Wizkid, the pop sensation, claimed that the sorrow he is currently experiencing as his mother Juliana was laid to rest is beyond anything he has ever felt. On August 18, 2023, she died.
Wizkid said, “I have no words to describe the pain that I feel, and I know every member of my family shares this pain with me, at the wake and tribute service in memory of the deceased on Thursday, October 12, 2023 at the Balmoral Hall of the Federal Palace Hotel and Casino, Victoria Island, Lagos. I won’t say, “take away the pain,” because I know it’s impossible, but I do believe that God, in his unending mercy, will give us solace so that we can move on with our lives. The hurt is severe and excruciating. I have never experienced such intense pain in my life. I’m lost, yet when I pray, I have faith that God will console us all.
