Wizkid celebrates 13 years on stage, claiming to be millionaire in every currency

The 13th anniversary of Ayodeji Balogun, better known by his stage name Wizkid, the Grammy-winning Nigerian artist, has passed.

The “Holla At Your Boy” hitmaker expressed gratitude to God for his accomplishments since the publication of his debut album and mentioned that he is a billionaire in “every currency.”

Wizkid warned supporters to make sure they are winning in real life rather than leading false lives, referring to himself as a “real life winner.”

He posted the following on his X account on Wednesday: “13 years since superstar! debut record! I’m grateful for all of God’s favours. a happy and healthy family! Happy life! adore the Lord.

“Millionaires in all denominations! Actual winners! Make sure you succeed in life and don’t fool yourself! You merit it.

According to Obasanjonews.com, Wizkid’s debut album, “Superstar,” was released on June 12, 2012, under the Empire Mates Entertainment, EME label owned by Banky W.

Highlights from the album were “Don’t Dull,” “Pakuromo,” “Tease Me,” “Holla AT Your Boy,” and “I Love My Baby.”

Following the release of his sophomore album “Ayo” in 2014, Wizkid departed from EME and founded Starboy Entertainment, his own record company.
