Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State has dared the People’s Democratic Party, or PDP, to eject him and suffer the repercussions.
While he was launching a new road in Rivers State, Wike issued a challenge.

“Do you know one of the requirements he set for him? Tony Anenih must be removed from his position as minister of works, and he cannot serve on the presidential campaign council. Obasanjo complied and withdrew Tony Anenih from the presidential campaign council as well as his position as minister of works. A retired general knelt down and was given conditions; this is a president, and his own vice president is giving him those requirements.
We (the G5) are not even suggesting that; we are merely stating that the party constitution needs to be honoured in light of what the national chairman said and what you informed me in my home.
The governor said, “Try and see how you will endure it,” challenging the People’s Democratic Party, or PDP, to kick him out of the party.
