Margaret Obi, the wife of Labour Party’s presidential candidate in last Saturday’s election, claims there is no turning back in her husband’s pursuit to overturn the allegedly rigged poll results.
According to PlatinumPost, Atiku Abubakar of the People’s Democratic Party and Peter Obi of the Labour Party were alleged to have finished second and third, respectively, to Bola Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress, who had already been declared the election’s victor.
Obi’s wife responded to the election results, which have been sharply criticised by both the PDP and Labour Party as being far from free and fair, by writing on her Facebook page on Thursday that the results would be vigorously contested in court.

She added that Obi needs to mobilise a “army of governance” from the polls in order to win the governorship and House of Assembly elections on March 11, 2023. She also urged Labour Party members to turn out in force that day.
