VC sends message to students as UniAbuja achieves record time for releasing results
Professor Abdul-Rasheed Na’Allah, the Vice Chancellor of the University of Abuja, has warned students to put in extra effort after the results of the previous semester were announced in record speed.
In a post published on the university’s Facebook page on Friday, the VC expressed gratitude for the prompt announcement of the findings and pledged compensation to the impacted faculty members.
The text of the communication was, “Dear Faculty and Students,
With great pleasure and satisfaction, I report that all university faculties that took part in this final exam have released their scores to our beloved students on schedule, with the exception of TWO faculty: law and management sciences. I genuinely want to express my gratitude to all of the lecturers who have been working nonstop to grade their students and upload their grades, as well as to the Faculty Boards who convened to approve the results and the Deans who swiftly recommended the approved grades on behalf of their respective faculties.
I can promise you that, regardless of the grade a student receives, both the student and their parents are pleased with today’s outcome since the grades serve as documentation of their success from the previous semester, and as it is now the second semester, they also provide insight into the student’s performance for the entire academic year. These academic departments are all heroes, and today, the University of Abuja, the Innovation Hub and Creative Technologies (IHCT), and the Information Technology Management Services (ITMS) are joining the GST in celebrating their remarkable performance in the CBT Examinations.
I want to reassure all of our heroic faculty members and the relevant units that your university’s administration will greatly express its gratitude and delight at this accomplished effort.
Returning students can evaluate their performance from the previous year and as they get ready for the first semester lectures of the 2023–2024 academic year, they can assess how much more work they need to do in this session to graduate with the degree they want.
I hope to see you around and hope 2024 brings you happiness and prosperity!
Greetings to all returning and new students for the academic year 2023–2024. The University will use every effort to guarantee your success. Please work while enjoying yourself. Keep demonstrating to the world the outstanding moral integrity of University of Arizona students. Please thank your lecturers for their hard work whenever you meet them, whether in class or elsewhere. Your ongoing commitment to your studies would be an amazing gift they would be pleased to receive.
